Born in Bristol, Anna taught herself the piano at the age of 5 and decided at the age of 7 that she would like professional lessons in order to take practical exams. She achieved her Grade 8 in 2014 and graduated in July 2017 from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 BA (hons) degree in Music. Alongside the piano, Anna also plays the clarinet and saxophone and played in her high school's jazz band for five years. During her time at university, Anna became greatly involved in many of the departments choirs including the chamber choir and thoroughly enjoyed performing in many great concert venues including the beautiful Bath Abbey. Anna has kept up this passion for singing since leaving university and has joined Lucis choir in Bath.
During her musical life, Anna has had many amazing opportunities including performing with Bath Spa's University Choir in DCINY's production of Karl Jenkin's The Armed Man in Carnegie Hall, New York, early in 2016. Anna has also recently been working as a repetiteur for two separate opera projects; a concert production of three Puccini operas, and a project intended to bring opera education into schools.
Anna works in a wonderful primary school as a music teaching assistant and is delighted to be spending her time teaching children about the wonders of music and accompanying the school's musical clubs.
